It’s a wonderful way to unwind, focus, and create something beautiful to display or gift. Cross stitch is one of the easiest and most relaxing forms of hand embroidery, making it perfect for absolute beginners and experienced crafters alike.

In our workshops, you’ll usually create smaller projects that can be finished within a session, such as:

Pretty floral motifs for framing

Mini samplers with alphabets or words

Seasonal designs for gifts or decorations

If you fall in love with the process, there are lots of ways to continue at home, from stitching matching bookmarks to creating a full set of framed designs to brighten your walls.

How Cross Stitch Works

Cross stitch uses a simple grid-based fabric (often called Aida), colourful embroidery threads, and a small needle. Your design is built up by making tiny Xs in different colours, slowly revealing a picture, pattern, or phrase.

Our workshops include everything you need (fabric, thread, needles, hoops, and patterns) along with friendly guidance from Lisa and Theresa and of course, endless cups of tea and coffee. Every participant leaves with a completed piece, ready to frame and proudly display.
